Commissioned by Ensemble Decipher in 2023, Orbs is a piece for small laptop ensemble that explores the relationships between objects. The work is performed using four different objects including rib bone, plastic egg/orb, paper mache orb, and planchette, a custom instrument that incorporates latex sheets, bone, and fabric. Each instrument is amplified and processed using Max/MSP.
